Three years earlier than the above Hacienda show was a two-show engagement at the Peppermill Hotel Casino on South Virginia St in Reno next-door to the Hacienda. It was one of a summer series of shows booked for the Hacienda but moved to the Peppermill (thanks to exalted entertainment director Willis Allen), when the Hacienda management decided the concerts were intolerably disrupting their restaurant clientele. Which they obviously welcomed back three years later.
